RATES First, all rates are flexible and subject to consideration for special circumstances, travel, purchases, availability of work (the Season or which night of the week or year) and regular engagement arrangements.
Weddings, Private Parties, Reunions: Local( within 20 Miles from Bar Harbor) $500.00 Minimum for Weddings
$400.00 for the Ceremony Only (3 songs)

Travel add $.45 per mile and $35 PER 60 miles (Sometimes not charged). Learning songs not included on my song list may cost $ 50 or more per song and require 6 weeks notice. The prices quotes are for up to 3 hours performing with a 15 minute break every 45-60 minutes. Beverages and food offered to the guests are also to be made available to myself as well. Concerts, Fairs, Festivals: Local( within 20 Miles from Bar Harbor) $500.00 - $700.00

Travel add $.45 per mile Engagements for multiple days or Artist in Residence Programs need to be discussed before a quote is offered. ______________________________________________ The figures for Weddings, Parties, Concerts, Fairs, Festivals etc. reflect the cost of an engagement of up to three hours. Extra, over or waiting time - $150 per hour. A deposit is required to hold a date. Upon receipt of the deposit, I will return a letter that will act as a contract to protect both parties. Below is an example of such. ______________________________________________ Night Clubs, Bars, Restaurants: 3 hours with 15 Min. break between 45 Min. sets. ONE TIME ENGAGEMENT-$150.00 to $300.00 EACH WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT (one per week)- $125.00 to $225.00 EACH REGULAR ENGAGEMENT (2 or more consecutive no breakdown between p/week)- $100.00 to $200.00 EACH
A meal from the regular menu and non alcoholic beverages are to be provided if requested during hours of preparation.
HOUSE CONCERTS:
Invite 20 or more people to your place, ask them to bring a $20 donation each and I will play for you for a few hours and throw in a CD of your choice from my recordings. The more the better. No Charge for travel if not during 'The Season' and within a reasonable distance. Call ME!

Anytown, ME 12345 Dear Jane; This correspondence is to confirm our arrangement for me, John M. Tercyak to perform on Saturday, September 21, 2002, 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM for your Wedding Service and the Reception at the Garden on Main Street, Anytown, Maine. The cost of this performance will be $500 dollars; $250 of which I received as a non-refundable deposit and $250 due prior to the commencement of the engagement. Additional performance time will be $150 per hour or for a portion thereof negotiated at the time. I will play Fiddle and Guitar and Sing selections and requests from my song list. Any songs not on my song list or in my repertoire shall be discussed in advance (at least 6 weeks) and those selections requiring additional preparation may cost $50 per song or more and require 6 weeks notice.. This letter when signed and returned shall act as a contract for the protection of both parties mentioned. Please remit a copy with your signature as soon as possible. Once endorsed, this contract cannot be canceled. If any of the terms of this agreement are not acceptable to you or you request any additional duties, please contact me immediately upon receipt of this note.
